Odd, because it works for me! Just contacted the original (genuine)
    seller. Were you logged in?

I'll volunteer the use of me and my trailer to collect it while you
ride shotgun, if that would help.

I was thinking along similar lines. Andy, email me for an evil
    suggestion or two.

Do you think Bonwick /needs/ a shotgun? If the bike is present, Andy
approves it and the money is handed over once it's strapped on,
there's no problem. In any case he has the ultimate deterrent to hand

You don't think you're going off a bit half-cocked, do you? This
isn't Poland in 1039, you know.

I may have been wearing slightly Rose-tinted glasses, but as I'm a shortarse
at 5' 4" and the Pantah, and Montjuic of a similar era, fitted me perfectly.

    A 900SS and Jota didn't ... ;)

  11. Hmmm, not only that, but robllew was active and leaving feedback on the
10th August, 2 days after the second listing started in the name of
    drewredford.

Very odd. Perhaps drewredford bought it in an off-ebay sale and is
nigeing it out quick, but is such a nige he can't be arsed to take some
new pics. Either that or a) it's a scam; b) robllew's mate is selling it
for him, but I see no good reason for that.

This new euphemism is still making me laugh. Was Bear the originator?

Funnily enough the price included shipping to my address.
I only got suspicious when I checked for other similar bikes to get a
feel for prices and saw the original buy it now price. It just had the
old alarm bells clanging straight away.

I'm sure we can come up with something worthwhile.

I'll not post any details on here because ukrm gets viewed in too many
    places these days.

Did you get an answer from the original seller and if so should I
contact him for a chat? He might be interested in selling for my
    'winning bid' price...

Ah shame. Similar to something I bid on. The seller evaporated when I made
it plain it was a Bike/V5 <>cash transaction, in person only.

More digging around and checking the headers on the email allegedly
sent by ebay to me gives me a right dodgy looking pile of shit. I'll
report it to ebay and move along with my cash still in my bank.

The headers are below for anyone interested.
