How? As soon as I right-click it comes up with a load of shite options
one can only access if one has the "pro" version of whatever it is;
flash media?
It's a static image. IE7 opens it straight up.

WTF? In that case, colour me puzzled.
If you get the very small picture, try simply hovering the mouse over
it and looking for an orange button to appear in the bottom right
corner. Click that to zoom to full size.

No it's a Portable Network Graphic image (.png) a straightforward static
image. Try www.mozilla.com and d/l a decent browser - even works on XP!
No. that'll be a shit browser from those cunts at Microsoft. <couldn't

No, it's an IE thing. IE's utterly shite at PNG images, so QT's taking
over.

IE? Yup, t'is.

IE - even IE7, although it's far better than previously - handles certain
types of PNG _really_ badly.

Earlier versions of IE for Windows had some issues, most of which have
now been addressed. IE for Mac was far better. Mozilla & Netscape also
had issues (Netscape didn't support PNG at all until recently), but
it's always more fun to single out Microsoft for a bashing, isn't it.

However the bit I was referring to as utter bollocks was your statement
that QT 'takes over'.

Christ, yes. <pats Ubuntu - which installed with no wireless networking
or other driver issues at all, unlike either XP or Vista on this box>
IE passes it to QT, because that's associated with the extension. Ergo,
QT "takes over" the handling of the image. <waves hand vaguely>
