A friend has a 2008 XJR1300, fuel injected, and wants to put a
straight-through can on it. I haven't got a clue about FI bikes - will
it need the fuelling adjusted (i.e. Power Commander or something), or
will it automatically adjust to suit as there's a lambda sensor in the
    exhaust?

Shirly a 2008 bike, which has a Catalyst, will have a fruitloop FI system,
else said catalyst could be damaged. In which case... it will run ok but a
PC will improve matters, is the usual answer.

I'm guessing (although I don't know for sure) that the cat is in the
standard can; certainly there's no "swelling" in the pipework, just an
EXUP valve. The lambda sensor is downstream of the collector.
