It's 15C here in Hobart at the moment and Cairns is 30C each day.
October will be about the same.

 

Aye so I've seen.

I've now shifted to early September when it still appears to be high
20s but lower (for Cairns values of lower) humidity.

Palm Cove looks like the final destination as well.

 

My choice of the word "package" was wrong. I really meant
flight+hotel.

 

Yup - just used them to book flights to US, did the best deals & best
prices, other one to watch is ebooker.com as well.

May be worth looking at booking it separately as a comparison.

 

Yeah the humidity up there is the killer. I can't stand it, which is
why I live so far south (or Britain).

Tres cool. And October is the right time to be there. Nice temp and
pre-monsoons. Have a good one.
