Experienced GL1100 guys (mechanical) (forgive the cross posting)

My '83 GL1100 engine (in my '82 standard) is pissing oil from the drain
hole under the water pump. From my research it seems I need a new water
pump and the two O-rings. Does anyone concur or disagree?

I can do the job easily enough, just getting sick of dumping money into
this bike, week after week. I swear, at the rate I'm
replacing/repairing things, this whole bike will be new in a month.

    Thanks.

Concur, but it's been a long while since I messed with these.
Classic problem with many of life's possessions. Just remember when
making a sell / fix decision that sunk costs are irrlevent.

Thanks Hank. Added what I found there to my research and am pretty sure
    it's the pump.

    Thanks.

    Paul,

*nods* Yeah, I don't expect to recover the repair costs if/when I sell
the bike. I just hope to get a fair penny given the overall (now,
anyway) mechanical condition of the bike.

Truth to tell, it's still far less than payments on a new ride. :)

    Thanks.
