F.O.A.K. news swerver hassles

    my ISP's deal with giganews obviously isn't as good as it was, because I can
    no longer authenticate over gprs using my adsl username and password ;-)

    Can anybody recommend a cheap but preferably free way I can access a news
    swerver from my mobile and palmpilot with a suitable username and password?

    My email address is valid if you want to keep the great unwashed away from
    such info...

    There has been a prob with Giganews from ca 1400 until recently, I'm just in
    process of sorting out my own crap as we speak. TKWIM

    I use Nildram too, and they had a major authentication issue with
    giganews from about 1pm yesterday until I went to bed. Should be
    fixed now? Just make sure you're logging into news.nildram.co.uk and
    none of the other servers with your login/pw.

    Yep, seems to be more stable now, but I still need a login I can use over
    GPRS through T-Mobile.

    Anyone?
