Neither Glock nor Trulli switched to wet tyres and both did 1:44 laps
(compared to everyone else doing 25s). No conspiracy at all as far as
I can see.

The Spa decision was ludicrous and without that, Hamilton would have
already sealed it. Glock got to the really wet part of the track and
it all got very squirmy - Trulli's times back that up.

Aside from that, it appears that very few drivers like Hamilton so I
can't imagine a driver from a rival team moving over for him.

Massa lost the championship because Ferrari let him down. It's ironic
they've won the constructors because with a more reliable car (and pit
crew) Massa would have won outright.

 

I actually do feel sorry for Massa - if Hamilton hadn't been so close to
the title I would've have been happy enough for Massa to get it - for it
would have been tremendous for him to win his home race and get the WC.

Did anyone notice the fans?
**** me - when they thought Massa had it, they were holding instant
carnivals, like one-man street parties in the stands. That lasted all of
a minute, then the realisation of the awful truth dawned on them. I've
never seen such devastation (utter hatred on some) on so many faces as
the camera panned across them and if thoughts and looks could kill,
Hamilton would have been incinerated in his cockpit.
Actually, that car that caught fire, perhaps it was a near-miss.

The website did say that it was only available in the UK.

 

Saw the race highlights on TSN over here in Canada - they showed the start
(delayed by the rain), DC's off followed by the final 4 corners of the final
lap. According to SWMBO, the laps between 1 & 71 were, as usual,
processional and the highlight selection called it right.

 

And probably the gob too, given those lips of hers.

Indeed. If you looked at Glock's car in the camera shot of the
(last?) corner, just after Hamilton had passed him, just before it cut
to Vessel and Hamilton going for the finish line, you could see
Glock's car shimmy. The front end, mind you, and he was already off
the brakes and entering the corner by then - the front of the car did
a double shimmy left and right. The poor **** had no grip whatsoever
and no hope of keeping up a decent speed therefore.
