Our village in France is Waldighoffen (lit. woody yards), from the
    first of those two.

Hmm. What shape is your swimming pool?

Err, it's rectangular, as should be all proper pools.

    Why do you ask?

Just trying to find your house in Google Earth. The resolution isn't quite
good enough to make out grotesquely overpowered SUVs or bent bikes.

Last time I checked there was just a hole in the ground and a black
    volvo-shape in the drive.
Hahaha. FWIW I've never owned an SUV.

An XC70 may be referred to as a crossover SUV rather than a
conventional SUV, but an SUV it is, nonetheless.

First off, mine was a V70XC; secondly, you're mistaken. Even the
latest XC70, like the Audi A6 allroad, is still very much a car with
some SUV-like attributes, as opposed to the XC90, which like the Audi
Q5 and Q7, and a host of others, are attempts to make the "crossover",
    as it's recently been called.

OK, fair enough, but I still retain my right to call a "four-wheel
drive, off-road capable estate/station wagon" an SUV!

"The crossover combines, in highly variable degrees, the design
features such as tall interior packaging, high H-point seating, high
ground-clearance, or all-wheel-drive capability of the SUV"

So on those grounds alone you lose, as the ones I mention have none of
those bar the 4wd, and I know you're not going to claim that all 4x4
    cars are crossover SUVs...

TBF the XC70 has got an inch or so more ground clearance than the V70,
but it's hardly "high" by comarison with any SUV.
