I'm not so sure that they are a good investment. Most of the Vincent
enthusiasts are now in their 70s so not long to go before there are
no customers to sell it on to.

What evidence do you have to back this theory about Vincent
    enthusiasts being in their 70s?

The only times I've seen a large gathering of them in the same place
there's been a very broad age range but I suppose that might have been
skewed by this always being on the IoM when it was GP fortnight.

The other alternative, that you're talking bollocks, is something that
    probably doesn't need discussing.

The Vincent stands at numerous Bristol Bike Shows, including those held
at the Watershed before they moved it to the Shepton Showgrounds.
Also the few VMCC meets that I attended.
Your sample is probabably not representative, but OTOH it could be that
all of the Vincent oldfarts congregate in the west country.

Ah yes; but if he's right it could mean as these 70 year olds die off
a lot more Vincents come on the market. This as likely to be as much
    bollocks as the earlier argument.

What you meant to say was.

They are all owned by very old gits that either have them dead and dry
on a plinth in the living room or use them at most 3 times a year and
then just do the few miles from the trailer to the show. And they is
going to keep them till the day they die.

    HOW TO KILL A LEGEND.

Heh, I wondered when you'd chip in.

Did you have a decent ride home this morning? I really should have put
a pair of over trousers on rather than just relying on being warm
enough in a pair of Levis but I made it without having to stop for
petrol or coffee so was quite happy.

took a blunt brush and painted...
So you're saying that the majority of 70+ year old Vincent owners will be
buried / cremated with their bikes?

    P.S. Learn to snip, newbie.

A significant number could become legacies, or should that be bequests?
