    Crutches have two little nipples you push in and you can then adjust their
    length. Do you have the same?

    I fit the same 10R as you just fine too. It's actually one of the
    last sports bikes they seem to have left roomy, but also compact -
    they're all going tiny now.

    ISTR saying this about the 9R before I killed it, but I can't see me wanting
    "more" of a sports bike than this 10R.

    It's got way more power than I can use, which is how I like it. Had a couple
    of bikes where I regularily wrung their RPM necks and found them boring in a
    "Oh MFG I'm going to die" way. Fine as commuters though.

    *Maybe* if the new generation of bikes (in 'x' years time) get to 10R size
    and I haven't given up biking by then.

    Heh.

    The big difference being that you will have used 10/10ths of is performance,
    and probably use 8/10ths of it on the road. I'm maybe at 6/10ths and 4/10ths
    :)

    I think your definition of 10R is perhaps a little more fruity than
    Frag's.

    Nancy. I've used 10/10ths of it's (engine) performance on the road. And
    then promised myself I'd never do that again.

    Until the next time.

    Hmm, I didn't phrase it well.

    I meant "use" to mean 'ability to wring its neck consistently, quickly and in
    full control over "some" distance', where "some" is something like 5 miles.

    I simply haven't got the experience / skill to know when the tyres are on the
    limit of grip to be able to do anything like that, so don't.

    10 years ago I would have pushed it and pushed it (and fell off), but now
    it's:-

    while(alive)
    {
    self_preservation++;
    sleep(1_year);
    }

    I think he means *his* 10R which is slightly different to Frags 10R.
    Isn't he just? I never thought I'd see the day when he'd fit a longer
    swinging arm to calm a bike down.
