It doesn't end in the sort of tears it could have though. They got off
pretty much unscathed (other than the Bimota and the 996 rider's rambutans).

Still stoopid even when not on the bike....
    ................repeat after me..
.............................do not sit the dazed, confused, shocked,
    possibly concussed rider
on side of road with a 100 foot drop on
    the other side..

Yes indeed. Didn't really pick up on that. However, maybe it was
intentional after the bollocks incident he caused.

    Bloody hell - nasty.

Hey - up for a Mt White spin Fri morning mate?

Yes, even without the heads up that it ends in tears, you could see that
    one coming.

I spent the first 3 mins trying to put my finger on what the guy on the
Bimota was doing wrong, it's not just corner entries, he was only
getting some of them wrong, but he also was very slow to tip in, which
at the speed he was doing was leading to some very flat curves and then
heaps of lean angle to try and make it. Which is what happened on the
last corner - he then ran wide and this time hit the dirt instead of
    crossing the white lane...

    Isn't a rambutan a weirdo stonefruit?

He was also braking waay early. I was sure the 996 was gonna' run up his
    clacker!
He was gassing up the Bimota on corner exit and stepping out the back
(whether intentionally or not) but the 996 rider must've had no brains or
enourmous trust to try and go around the outside while he was doing that!
How lucky for him (but not the gene-pool) that he didn't go over the
concrete barrier when he lost it!

How frightening that must've been for the poor pushie riders too!

My overall verdict; "Hey Gerry; which side do you want me to stand on so I
don't get tangled while I'm feeding you the ammo-belt?"

Hehe - ever seen one? You'll see what I mean. :)

This is probably a good idea of what his rambutans looked like after half
impregnating the 996 tank (ouch from a few angles - not the least of them
    being $$$): http://www.marketmanila.com/images/aram3.JPG

Haven't had the tank event yet but have copped a few well placed medium/fast
paced cricket balls in the rambutans, and even got knocked over at the net
by a magnificently struck overhead in a tennis comp years ago.
    FFAAAARRRKKKK...

....why do chicks think it's funny to give them a light tap, usually after
having a bit too much to drink and often while standing outside a restaurant
after dinner, generally somewhere like cheap Charlie's Chinese Chew and
Spew? Aaaah, them's were the days.

    Cheers,

I must be getting older but waaaay before the accident I was frightened at
the speeds they were doing. Well done but shite that was too fast for me!

Thanks guys for pointing out what the Bimota guy was doing wrong, I knew
his riding didn't look right, Just couldn't pick it because I was
thinking, These guys know this Rd very very well, Had too to be going
that fast, I noticed the Bimota guy going wide a few times & thought it
was going to end in tears, I thought it was going to be much worse than
    what it did though.
Anybody who rides on the public Rds deserves what they got, Just as long
as noone esle is involved, Which unfortunatley isn't the case, They
ussually crash because they've found someone in the way of there stuffup.
Unfortunatley most these type of riders need to have this type off crash
( The one in the video) to slow them down, More unfortunate is that most
don't learn until someone is seriously hurt or killed.
If you want to ride hard & fast or even race. Take it to the track!

    My 3cents worth.

It was certainly too fast for how they were crossing out of their lanes,
how close to eachother they were riding and how close to the pushies!

That's not necessarily the case. Fast riders ride fast. You don't need
to recognise every corner to know what speed you can take it at, you
just need to recognise the visual indications which tell you what speed
you can take it at while you're travelling towards and through it.
