Fat Guy, Clutch Slip...

I am finding that I'm riding the new toy perhaps a little harder then
Kawasaki originally intended, especially from the traffic lights. My 120Kg
coupled with some aggressive throttle action is giving me excessive clutch
    slip at takeoff.

I am considering sticking in some heavier clutch springs but I was wondering
if there are any potential negative side-effects from installing heavier
springs, other than a stiffer lever?

Clem, maybe you'd have some advice in this area?

  4. I have the sme problem. got myself set of Barnett Clutchpaltes and springs
made a big difference to the power delivery. :)

I have hydralic so I only noticed a very smll increase in clutch stiffness
but not enouhg to mke it uncomfortble or anything.

If it gets uncomforble you can go for braided line.

    Cheers

    $50 ???

when you put on a new one coat it in grease and then you can remove the
    cover and
then reuse the gasket again if need be
