Fate can be ironic sometimes

Get woken up this morning by the doorbell.

Postman has a package and a letter for me.

Package is a TDS TR30 Lite speed^Hsafety camera detector. [1]

Letter is my license back with another 3 points on it.

Is fate trying to tell me "now you've got the former, you'll never need
to send off the latter again" or more likely "you think *that* will
stop *this* getting more points on it?"...

Here's to the next 5 years of trying to behave myself!

[1] On my first test, it picked up 8 (yes, 8) mobile camera locations
between M1, J13 and the first roundabout on the A421 in MK. (a 4 mile
stretch that other devices say there are 3 mobile sites along). Thank
**** its got a "delete" button on it.

Molly banged the rocks together and they said :
Don't worry, in years of driving down that road I've never seen any
    mobile units anywhere along it.

AOL. There's never anything down that road - I mean, there's only the
one bridge where it might be remotely safe to have one parked up FFS,
so where the other 7 spots are is slightly beyond me.

    Bryan says...
They sit in a gate entrance by that little brick hut on the M1 side
occasionally. Another spot is on the left going towards MK near the golf
course access road entrance. They're easy to spot from a distance in
    either direction.

Cheers, It's amazing how much more you can remember when someone points
    it out.
I still don't believe I ever saw one in 7 years of commuting to MK. It
does occur that I tended to use the more twisty and less trafficy
    backlanes at peak times though.
