favourite corner in sydney?

  1. cahill expressway overpass at circular quay, then the 270 degree cork screw
to enter the bridge northbound. The surface is a bit ordinary, nut there
are some good lines. If you time it right, you can get there with no cars
and have both lanes to yourself.

Damn - beaten to it! ;-)

(In the interests of equality, I'll say the same for Melbourne
    though).

Only after a good shower of rain, there's a lot of oil builds up on
    there

  7. Coming out of North Sydney onto the F4 was always my favourite when I
was working at SBS. I got pulled up by a bike cop that I didn't notice
as I had the VF1000R cranked over so hard that the mirrors were
useless. Of course said bike cop had come off the Harbour Bridge and
was just watching this maniac trying to touch down the exhaust on that
corner. I always slowed down when I got onto the freeway (honestly
officer). Anyway, he let me off thankfully. He was more interested in
the bike than noticing that I had expired Victorian rego at the time.
I got a "there could be oil on that corner when you have the bike
leaned over that far" talk. Yeah, so what. Still a fun corner.
Probably doesn't exist any more (I'm talking 1988 here).

Coming down Victoria road from Parra - the nice left hander just after
you cross Devlin St. It's a big intersection beforehand so it's
usually easy to get to the front and get a good run at the corner.

Then the right hander onto the Gladesville bridge - it's got nice
camber and you can hook in... Take some cars there pretty quick and
    they all seem impressed :p

First and last turn (left hander north, right hander south) on the F3 at
    Normanhurst/Wahroongah, off Pennant Hills road.

We call them turn 1 and turn 12

Yeah that's kinda fun that one and with 3 lanes wide and not much
traffic usually, it's a bit safer than the one onto the bridge
northbound, just make sure you've wound off again before the crest of
the gladesville bridge - they're often at the bottom of the hill with
    the photographic ticket machine.

Speaking of on-ramps the one at Parramatta onto James Ruse Drive off
Victoria Rd is rather fun - reducing radius 270 degrees and 2 lanes
into 1 - there's large amount of Bandit metal on that curve :)
