....if we take into account push bikes.

Less than ten minutes ago I found myself sliding along
on my arse as the front wheel of the push bike let go
on the amazingly slippery block paving on a corner just
up the road from home. No damage; both myself and the
bike kept sliding! I do have a sore arse that is going
to be worse in the morning.

Anyway, I blame Bonners, Kiran, Darsy and Ogden for
getting me semi-drunk tonight at the Lowlander.

heh, I came off mine just outside Liverpool St yesterday. Filtering and
at one point, mounted the central reseration to get past traffic. Front
wheel went up but the angle wasn't quite enough for the back wheel, so
it slid and then toppled me over.

Well as you know now it is necessary to make *sure*
that the back gets up the kerb.

If you cant approach with a decent angle you need to
unload the back to allow it to mount. If you are not
    confident with it be conservative:)

    <snip>

I solved the problem with one of these

    Otherwise known as the Spazzermobile.

-12 this morning, so it will get an outing.

Hmmm... now I've paid off the first bike I got through our Cycle To Work
scheme, it might be time to see what I want next. €2400 is a bit rich, mind.
    I wonder why.
I cycled to work today; apparently it was -5°C when I left the house,
which would explain all the frost on the roads. At least it wasn't icy.

So let me get this right, I sit on the saddle, put one foot on a pedal
and push down? And that makes me go forward, yes?

Surely something like a KMX would be more fun?

    I dunno, I hadn't really researched anything.
Hmmm, nice. Cheaper than that German thing, too. I need to get a test ride.

Yeah, for sure, but they weren't available when I got the Spazzer.
Might not stop me buying one though :)
