FFS-TFF

Why is it that every car or bike I'm interested in is fucking miles
away? This week's tally so far is two cars, both in fucking Poole, &
two bikes, both north of Brum. FFS.

 

It's far enough to need half a day off work to go & look at them during
the week when you have to get there by 4.30, & far enough to make them
impossible to collect without wasting half a day of someone else's time
to play taxi. Oh, btw, thanks for offering ;-)

 

Aha, my cunning plan worked! All I need now is someone who's just round
the corner from Altrincham to put their hand up.

It must be karma. As soon as I post that, a suitable sounding bike pops
up in Bath, at several hundred quid cheaper than any others. It's been
advertised a couple of times in the last few weeks, but only on some
website I'd never heard of until today, which is probably why it hasn't
gone. I suspect my wallet will be a tad lighter tomorrow evening.

Typically, my trailer's currently out on loan. Don't suppose anyone
near Swindon/Bath's got one I could borrow for a few hours later this
week if necessary?
