    I'll remember that if I'm ever pulled up for straying over a double white
    line, parking on double yellows or in a taxi rank, overtaking at a
    pedestrian crossing, stopping in a yellow box junction, ignoring "stop"
    lines...

    If you're referring to this morning, I should point out that I've already
    complained to Gloucester County Council about the state of those road
    markings / the road surface was wet / I had the sun in my eyes / my throttle
    stuck open for a moment / there was a lorry obscuring the markings / I
    wasn't actually filtering / etc.

    Well I was criticised for it by my observer - in this case it was 2
    lanes leading to a roundabout. Was going to take 2nd exit straight on).
    Left hand lane was marked for left turn only. I used it to get to head
    of queue to then go straight on. Didn't cut anyone up but I guess
    officially I misused that lane. Does that differ to your case?
