    I'd love to have a sister who's a bit more considerate when scheduling
    her wedding.

    Sheesh - I dunno why you didn't just buy a lardy tourer.
    200 miles?! That seems a lot to me.[1]

    How do you find the tingly vibes on long runs? IIRC you took it to France
    last year.

    When they first came out that was reported of them. I tried one at North
    Harbour in Ayr and that's how it felt. Perhaps they changed over time?

    The ZX7R went almost unchanged from 1989 to 2003, and (with the
    exception of a few stickers) completely unchanged after 1996.

    After all, why **** with perfection.

    Eh? In '89 they were on the ZXR750H1 weren't they? A far cry from an
    '03 ZX7R, surely.

    On the road, sure.

    Most of what became the ZX7R was already on the track in '89.

    <sucks teeth>
    I've just spunked a bucketload on a new house and I swore no new bike until
    I dispose of the spare 4. And that's GSXR K5 money.
    <sucks teeth>

    Bit far for a look on spec. Do any regular posters live in Crewe?

    Surely the restriction came in from 2000 onwards (not sure if that's
    2000 or 2001 model year) but I think 2002 model year (K2) would
    definitely be capped.

    Unless it's got a tre of course, but that's not what the auction
    suggests

  20. C50? CG125 (Makes Sign of Holy Pushrods)? Yamaha YB100 lasted for
    decades.

    Big bikes, though: hm. Kawasaki GT750 was totally unchanged apart from
    cosmetics from 1982 to the mid-1990s when they stuck the Zephyr engine
    in it. GT550 lasted about as long.
