You'll be selling it within 12 months, if not sooner.

The only difference between you and Nige is that you deal at the pikey
    end of the market.

He's from the norf. Give him a lump of coal and he'll be as happy as a
    bunny in a bunny whorehouse.

    Meh.

Maybe we should open a book to see which happens first; I sell my bike
or you end up dropping yours... again.

If I thought you really wanted to throw your money at me I'd take it
but I don't think you've got the bollocks to go for it. Have you?

The only problem I have with this, is you could lob your bike and then
keep quiet about it, or I could sell mine and keep quiet about it.

I'll take the bet though; the loser pays for the winners room at an
*OSM and all their beer for the evening.

    Deal?

Oh, and only the one stipulation on my part... if my bike gets written
off or pinched, all bets are off.

    Sure.

Which bike are you saying I'll crash?

Remind me what's in the fleet... and what's the deal if you flog it in
the meantime or it gets pinched - all bets off?

    Kawasaki ZX10R
    Yamaha XT660 Tenere
    BMWK100RS (outfit)

You can either include them all and then the bet's off while I'm on a
trip to the Arctic Circle early next year or name a bike and that one
obviously won't go on the trip.

No other conditions attached, I say you'll sell a bike before I crash
    one.

If you want to go for it and say it's all my bikes all the time then
make it a few grand we're gambling and I'll put the trip off until I
collect the money and you end up paying for it.

You're going to the Arctic Circle... by bike?
Ok, seeing as it bit you in the arse recently, I reckon you'll drop
the ZX10R before I sell the GSX.

I don't have any other bikes at the mo and if I do end up getting
another one at some stage next year, (which is the plan at the mo -
probably a late VFR750), it'll be as an addition to the fleet rather
    than replacing the GSX.

If you sell the ZX10R or it gets pinched / written off, all bets are
    off.

If I do as I say above and get a second bike, and then sell it or
whatever, it's irrelevant to the bet - the bet on your part is I'll
get rid of the GSX before you bin the ZX10R... and the prize is as
before: winner gets their room and all their ale for the evening paid
    for, at an *OSM.

Not just me, a few of us are going.
    That'll do for me.
