They didn't provide a jacket of any kind?

It can be done for a fair bit less, I reckon about £300 - £350 for
helmet, textile jacket, gloves, boots and waterproofs

Agreed. You can get some pretty good all weather kit and a quality lid
    for that much.

  4. Why not the unfaired? I had a faired and always wished I'd got the
    unfaired.

    I haven't got a clue what you're on about.

There again I live in Hove, actually.

I think Hove should be renamed "Hove Actually"

I was in Hove today. Where can I claim my prize?

I think we did about 60 miles together today. You're a good pillion,
don't wriggle about too much. I even managed to do a couple of proper
U-Turns without issue and you didn't fall off, even on the twisties.

Did you notice that 'we' set off a couple of forward facing speed
    cameras on our journey?

Oh, if you see those women at the zebra crossing, do apologise to them
    for me.

Not "Hove Actually"? So much for that idea, then.

  11. I didn't want to disappoint, so I held on like a motherbitch. I have
    ripling forearms now, thank you.
I didn't, no. But the 'red light' camera into Brighton should have
gone off when you sped through the red, but I was looking at it as we
crossed the line and it didn't go.

  12. Using the patented Mavis Beacon "Hunt&Peck" Technique, Sean Hamerton
Nick, when you die, try not to do so too noisily. And if you could avoid
a large insurance claim against you we'd all be very grateful.

I'd hardly call that light 'red' it was more 'post amber'
Every day I try to avoid passing on the cost of riding to my insurance
    company.

  14. They changed the steering geometry slightly. It's horrible.
