    I suppose if he was going for the GoldWing look/equipment, he'd have had
    plenty o' $$$ to play with between the price of the V-Strom and the price of
    a new GoldWing, but where does one find the time to put all that into
    action?

    so he wanted a goldwing with knobby tyres........... what's wrong with
    that?

    Although, I was followed out of TTT (rally of the rather fun fire
    trails to get in) by a bloke on a Goldwing, stereo blaring, who was
    merrily putting a few riders, on theoretically better bikes for the
    conditions, to shame.
