Fix bent front wheel

Hi All,

Does anyone know where I can get my front wheel fixed up in Sydney ? I bent
it when I hit bessa brick on the road.

Dr Bob Martin in Melbourne

He used to straighten GSXR rims every time

As they say if it cant be done in Melbourne , it cant be done

 

I think he died.
(Although someone else might be running the shop now)

 

Coupla things wrong with that, Melbourne isnt in Sydney (which is quite
good), and Bob Martin is dead now.

They just straightened one of my fork legs for $55 and didn't
charge me anything to measure the other one and declare it
straight. Good guys.

His son Steve has taken over the business (no not that Steve Martin and not
the other Steve Martin and probably not any other Steve Martin you might be
confusing him with). I think he'd taken over the general day to day running
of the business a few years before his father passed away because Bob had been
ill for quite a while before his death.

I also have a slight bend in my front wheel (BMW K1200RS) and my local
BMW dealer recommended:

Cost is approx. $75 apparently.

Note, as the bend in my wheel is minor, I haven't taken it to him yet,
so this is not a personal recommendation.

My wheels are both bent all the way around,into a circle...
