Flip up screen / touring windsheild for Fazer 600?

Has anyone fitted the flip up screen or touring windsheild on their Fazer 600?

Does it make a difference (comfort / dryness) on long trips / fast roads?

I fitted a Yamaha OEM flip about a month ago to my pre-2001 Fazer.
I've not systematically compared the two, but my impression is that
the flip seems to make things a little bit better at higher speeds
(say 70-100mph) but perhaps a little bit worse at more moderate speeds
(say 40-60mph). This is true of both comfort and noise. Overall I find
it hard to tell, which I guess is another way of saying it doesn't
make an enourmous difference.

For what it's worth I'm 5'11" - I have a funny feeling that with the
Fazer I'd be better off being either any other height, shorter or
taller. I also have a crap noisey helmet (AGV Flyer).

I recommed you "try before you buy" - if you happen to be near
Southampton you're welcome to give mine a try.

I've still got the standard screen on my Fazer6 but I hear that a bubble
screen works well. I'm thinking of trying one. Try the messageboard at
