At my regular Tuesday night pool sessions we've got in to an on-going argument which even t'internet can't seem to solve. One of the lads reckons that in 1984, when BBC were showing Manimal the ITV programme on at the same time was called Microman and was some kind of Tron type affair, with a car that could turn corners at 90 degrees. He's absolutely adamant that this programme existed, even though nobody else remembers it. The car cornering thing does ring some bells with me, but the name "Microman" doesn't. Vast amounts of Googling have only turned up some Japanese thing which eventually became Transformers, as far as I can tell, so can anybody on here either confirm or disprove the existence of this TV show? -- AndrewR, D.Bot (Celeritas) Aprilia RSV-1000R, Honda VFR750F-L BOTAFOT#2,ITJWTFO#6,UKRMRM#1/13a,MCT#1,DFV#2,SKoGA#0 (and KotL) BotToS#5,SBS#25,IbW#34, DS#5, COSOC# Suspended, KotTFSTR# The speccy Geordie twat.
I remember the series, but I don't think it was called Microman. I even had some novels about it. Will have a Google.
Nice one Ben - thanks to you an Darsy. I didn't watch this, but nor did I watch Manimal, so obviously I'd found something better to do with my Saturday nights by the time I was 13. Wanking, most likely. -- AndrewR, D.Bot (Celeritas) Aprilia RSV-1000R, Honda VFR750F-L BOTAFOT#2,ITJWTFO#6,UKRMRM#1/13a,MCT#1,DFV#2,SKoGA#0 (and KotL) BotToS#5,SBS#25,IbW#34, DS#5, COSOC# Suspended, KotTFSTR# The speccy Geordie twat.
How really bizarre. We were talking about this just the other week. -- Catman MIB#14 SKoGA#6 TEAR#4 BOTAFOF#38 Apostle#21 COSOC#3 Tyger, Tyger Burning Bright (Remove rust to reply) 116 Giulietta 3.0l Sprint 1.7 145 2.0 Cloverleaf 156 V6 2.5 S2 Triumph Sprint ST 1050: It's blue, see. www.cuore-sportivo.co.uk

Yeah. But that was *ages* ago. You surely can't expect me to remember stuff for more than 5 minutes do you? Phil
