I've had my annual call from BT Broadband tonight, trying to get me to sign
    up for another 12 months.

Normally I just say "Yeah, right fine" to whatever they're offering me and
stay with them for another year, but this time they were trying to tempt me
with a free BT Vision box with installation, which is **** all good to me
(Sky already in, HD DVD recorder and Sky+ on the way).

Anyway, BT Vision thing aside (you get 12 months of free Sultana sports -
great, I don't watch sports) they want to pump me for £19/month, which seems
a bit high for this day and age. OTOH I've never had any problems with it
in 5 years of using it, I even managed to get the crappy HomeHub they sent
me 2 years ago working to a respectable standard.

So, who should I be giving my porn-pipeline money to? Let the mong fight
    commence.

Anyone but BT imo. How about Sky, especially if they've got their kit
in your exchange (which makes it very cheap)?

O2/Be broadband seem to win a lot of customer service etc. awards and
I've been with O2 broadband for 6 months now, problem free.

£7.34 a month for O2 customers or £12.23 for non customers for up to
    8meg. £9.78/£14.68 for 20 meg.

Fine if O2/Be is one of the LLU options. Otherwise, O2's Home Access
    broadband is probably best avoided.

Seeing as I'm here, I'll suggest IDNet as usual.
