We can get a new box next day, so no need to bulk buy, and bulbs aren't
    fast movers anyway

  2. They are on the back of a ZX-10.

Watching the Cookstown 100 the other night I was impressed to hear that
Ryan Farquhar's ride was a stock ZX-10 and was showing a clean pair of
    zorsts to the Superbikes.
Your mate Ollie Linsdell got a mention, too.

The new ZX10R is a fucking missile, plus it's dirt cheap compared to
the fucking ugly R1, and a bit cheaper than the GSXR and Blade too.

heh. I was mystified to find both rear bulbs blown on the Armstrong
    (seriously blackened).

Even more mysterious was the fact the bike has a magneto, not an
alternator in sight, supposedly so the bike can be started even if the
    battery is flat ...

    Cheers,

    Paul.

I hope the halogen headlight bulbs are sealed in something otherwise they
are likely to get contaminated which will cause early failure.

  11. Exactly. The contaminants causing de-vitrification need heat to
    instigate the process.

Halogen bulbs always come in their own little box, but you knew that
    anyway.
