Anyone got any recomendations for garage door suppliers?

I want a nice insulated roller door. Had a very nice man from Nationwide
(the ones that John Stalker advertises) which came in at 2.5K with all the
    bells and whistles.

Whilst that was nice, I dont really *need* motorised raising and lowering
    etc..

Anyone got any recomendations in the West London area?...

I did ask on UK DIY, but they are an even more prickly bunch than over
    here...and thats saying something!

No recommendations for you, but what are "all the bells and whistles"?
OK electric opening is one thing (which is of dubious "value"). I am
sure I'd seen some decent-looking Henderson doors for circa £600 IIRC
    plus fitting.

No recommendations but have a look on the sides of vans/lorries for
people that do it and check out the state of said vehicles and the
    people therein.

This has been a public service announcement.

Bad form but for the thick amongst us, you'd want to take down the
number and ring up the ones that looked at least semi-respectable.

You can get automatically-opening side-shutters for vans? Oh, my
    aching wrists!
