FOAK: Half term quiz

  1. I changed the oil in the GS today. Well when I say changed I really
mean replaced that which was missing and thoroughly diluted what
    remained of the rest.

It don't half go fast round corners now, why is this?

I think it might be a noise associated thing cos I can ride it without
earplugs now and it don't hurt as much. I think it is the extra energy
being diverted to the wheels instead of making very loud grinding
    screeching noises.

  2. I guess it's true that Mods never had any mechanical empathy.
....otherwise why would they have ridden scooters?

What do you mean no mechanical empathy? You can thrash the nuts off a
scooter in much the same way as a bike, although at a quarter the speed
and no fun at all really. And *every* stroker is better for having it's
    pipes "tuned".
