The Brat has passed his CBT and got himself a Honda CA 125 "Rebel" (at least he didn't get the Gilera "Coguar"...). Unfortunately the forks are a little bent (rideable, but noticeable and it's due for its MOT next month). What we've heard so far is that it's probable the fork stantions on a modern(ish) 125 will be too flimsy to successfully straighten. :-( Is that likely? If that's true, how much would a decent set of used forks cost, and any recommendations as to where to get them from (w midlands preferably)? Tried Partsfinder, but keep getting an error message when I post the enquiry, so don't know if it's gone through. -- The From address is a spam-trap, so all replies to the newsgroup please. {Mine} | {Moto Guzzi V11 Sport Rosso Mandello} {Hers} | {Ducati M750 Monster} {Ours} | {Kawasaki GPZ 500S} ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Nail 'em up, I say! The stanchions will be very easy to straighten. You can do it yourself with three bits of wood and a piece of glass to check for straightness, or take it to someone who is more confident. Boss Motorcycles used to be the place for Brummies to get anything straight.
