Oh, fount of all knowledge, can you use both compact flash and secure digital cards on an iPAQ 2210 at the same time? I've looked in the manual, and on hp's site and there is no mention of this. -- Nursey RN ALS Provider OSOS#25 MIRTTH#6 IbW#09 4#COFF EFFA MOP#1 Honda Deauville (NTV650-V) (Mine) Tweenies Trike (Caitlin's) UKRM FAQ: http://www.ukrm.net/faq/

Since we have all these 2210 owners together, has anyone else had problems with the black rubber down the sides lifting? -- Catman MIB#14 SKoGA#6 TEAR#4 BOTAFOF#38 Apostle#21 COSOC#3 Tyger, Tyger Burning Bright (Remove rust to reply) Alfa 116 Giulietta 3.0l (Really) Sprint 1.7 Triumph Speed Triple: Black with extra black bits www.cuore-sportivo.co.uk
Actually I'm a 5450 owner (nice hard case) but the 2210 I bought to bring my parents into the 20th Century is suffering this in only 2 months
Not an IPaq but I have a Dell Axim X5 and can use both SD/MMC and CF at the same time. They get mounted under "SD Card" and "CF Card" respectively.
Nope, but does anyone else find it freezes or generally doesn't work properly after a couple of days unused in the docking station?

Fortunatley it's only crashed once whie actually on the road. What normally happens is that checkpoint loads, but tom tom dunt and then checkpoint hangs........ -- Catman MIB#14 SKoGA#6 TEAR#4 BOTAFOF#38 Apostle#21 COSOC#3 Tyger, Tyger Burning Bright (Remove rust to reply) Alfa 116 Giulietta 3.0l (Really) Sprint 1.7 Triumph Speed Triple: Black with extra black bits www.cuore-sportivo.co.uk
I found that after checkpoint loading there is a longish delay with tomtom loading. It does load, and work, but takes quite a while. Wonder if it has anything to do with the amount of poi's that it needs to load. I have all the speed camera's as layers, as taken from poiplace. That might cause the slow load, but I've never had tomtom hang when checkpoint initiates the load. -- Nursey RN ALS Provider OSOS#25 MIRTTH#6 IbW#09 4#COFF EFFA MOP#1 Honda Deauville (NTV650-V) (Mine) Tweenies Trike (Caitlin's) UKRM FAQ: http://www.ukrm.net/faq/
Mine sometimes loads within seconds, sometimes, it just doesn't. Sometimes it loads eventually Hmm, interesting. The amount of overlays definitley has an upper limit (detailed on the website). In general, although it's not perfect, it's a *whole* load better than anything else I have access to. -- Catman MIB#14 SKoGA#6 TEAR#4 BOTAFOF#38 Apostle#21 COSOC#3 Tyger, Tyger Burning Bright (Remove rust to reply) Alfa 116 Giulietta 3.0l (Really) Sprint 1.7 Triumph Speed Triple: Black with extra black bits www.cuore-sportivo.co.uk
You can't in TT2. TT3 allows a route via multiple locations, but TT2 is point to point only (and only within one map). POIs allow additional information to be added and can be done in any number of ways, but if you want to use them as way points you'd have to navigate to the first, then stop and ask the system to plan a route to the second (repeat as necessary). If you can be bothered to spend enough time doing it you could frig the system to generate a route, but it would involve doing things like setting motorway default speed to 1mph and using "avoid area" to force the route down the roads that you want, which becomes problematical if you then decide to detour and still want to get to Edinburgh! I stand to be corrected by those in the know, but that's my understanding at least.
Just out of interest, how do you set way points in TT2? Or is it possible to create a route yourself and load it into TT. I want to make a nice day of my ride up to edinburgh in a few weeks and would like to get the route planned outside of TT and then load it in. I must admit I haven't looked into it much, but this thread has sort of prompted me to think about it and I thought one of you may have done this already. Cheers
You can't AFAIK Not that I'm aware of -- Catman MIB#14 SKoGA#6 TEAR#4 BOTAFOF#38 Apostle#21 COSOC#3 Tyger, Tyger Burning Bright (Remove rust to reply) Alfa 116 Giulietta 3.0l (Really) Sprint 1.7 Triumph Speed Triple: Black with extra black bits www.cuore-sportivo.co.uk
