I'm looking to fit some sounds on the bike, but I can't seem to find anybody
this side of the puddle that sells the speakers. Amps are no problem, but I
    want 4 off of these sort of thing;

I wonder if anybody here noze of a good (cheap) place, preferably in the UK
    or channel isles?.

    TIA.

  2. Try boating supplies, they sell all sorts of waterproof speakers, prolly'
not them, but you should find something.

  3. CPC /Farnell do weatherproof speakers, for music, not just PA type. I
doubt if they reach 500W. Mind you, I doubt if the 500W that ad mentions
    are real, too.

    SPot on!)

Cheers, just what I'm after ( 2 sets, mind) and not probably cheaper than
from Merkin land, taking delivery and custom charges into count.

    Well spotted that man.

    Thanks.

I'll have a look in the catalogues when I get to work. Manufacturers power
claims nowadays are rather "ambitious" I feel. Peak power seems to mean they
can choose any number that looks good, bring back good old RMS as least
there is a base reference to work to. ;o)

I like the cover of Private Eye:

Title: "Shame of our MPs" over a picture of the HoC, with a speech-
bubble coming it: "Shame we got caught".

And also the line at the bottom:

"Inside: Apology of a Prime Minister"
