FOAK - laptop opinion

  1. what does the FOAK think of this Lenovo laptop in terms of spec and
    price?

I'm horribly out of date in terms of what the decent technology / spec
level is these days. I recognise this is nearer a business than a home
machine and it may not get hugely intensive use but a decent wi-fi
equipped and media capable machine is the sort of thing I'm looking for.

I have searched round PC world and was not terribly impressed with what
was on offer for the prices asked for.

This is a better one, and a more recent model, for less money.

I have two of those Lenovo Edge 15, but running 64 Bit W7 Pro. Make sure you
    have 4GB ram.

Utterly excellent and the users love them. Good screen and fast as ****.
    Featured very nicely.

The thing I find is after having a machine with a trackpoint (keyboard
nipple) it's a pain going back to a trackpad.

Toying with the idea of getting one of the 11 or 13 models to replace
my netbook in the new year.
