    Any Nero experts, please ?

I have a NRG file which was copied during a DVD copy. It copied from a
DVD+RW and copied to a DVD+R format, because that's all I had at the time
and it wouldn't copy to DVD-R for some odd reason.

Anyway it seems the +R isn't very player friendly except on PCs so I was
hoping to record it again, even if I had to onto DVD+RW, and instead using
DVD Clone to get this onto the -R format.

Anyway, damn Nero will not let me copy to any other format than the +R. This
seems a bit daft ? Isn't there a way to alter the image / settings so its
possible at least to copy to a +RW format so I can clone later without
losing a +R write-once disk to the process, or even straight to -R ?

I am currently having to look about for a util to extract a Nero NRG file,
    instead.
Yours gratefuly, a Confused Nero user. (6.6.0.14)

    So true.
I have used burnerxp before by the way, its seemed ok but that was probably
more than a few versions ago.
It was very nice looking for a free application so I am not too surprised if
they have smoothed it out even more, and not terribly surprised if its
better than Nero, and it is indeed a good time to leap over to a better
alternative. I am finally taking the leap from 2000pro to XP MC so will need
    to do this anyway.

I've tried Nero ImageDrive and it calls its own Imagefile invalid, so what a
    pile of monkey doos.
I am trying UltraISO and other stuff to see if I can manipulate the file I
    have

I assume Daemon Tools can mount the image as a drive and you can just
burn the disk from the phantom Daemon Tools drive the the +/- of your
    choice.

Very nice tool. Bugger and damnation to the image though, it obviously
doesn't want to play (incorrect function on the virtual CD).
Ah well, hopefully I will get back the source CD which I copied (played back
on on the source recorder ??) which might give me more options. I am
surprised the temporary image file doesn't want to play at all.
