FOAK: Plus Gas

    Is Plus Gas generally regarded by the FOAK as infinitely better than WD40
    when it comes to freeing rusty and corroded things?

    Is Plus Gas generally regarded by the FOAK as infinitely better than
    The FIL's boat split a cooling pipe which led to a lot of salt water
    corrosion, especially on the starter motor - the boat yard gave us some
    'RustOff' (sp?) which I'd never seen before or since which did what it said.

    WD 40 is a good engine/generally mucky mechanical things, cleaner, and a
    reasonable short-term lubricant..

    I'd rather keep the track rods attached to my cars steering rack and just
    take the ends off. :eek:)
