Windows vista buiseness, got the latest service pack installed,

I must have downloaded something or changed a setting on my laptop, as i am
getting practicaly everything in my graphics folders copied as a .pvw file,

t'internet says this is a 'portfolio saved view' file, used by extensis
softwares proggies, which seem to be funnily enough, portfolio proggies for
    photo's, videos etc.

i havent downloaded any photo type software recently, any graphical software
i use is vector based to work with my vinyl cutter, infact only thing i
downloaded in the past month is Utorrent and WinRar, so i guess it's one of
those, but i cant find owt in either proggy that could be set to scan every
feckin graphical file and make a copy in this shitty .pvw file extension.

double clicking on a .pvw file on me pooter brings up the 'windowz dont know
wot to do' prompt, so i dont have any portfolio software on me pooter, but
something is making it copy all the graphics files to a .pvw file, and thus
    bloating the folders with shit,

deleting the .pvw files results in them being remade when i next boot the
    pooter.

task manager dosent show anything i can easily recognise as the culprit
    proggy running,
so any suggestion to how to get rid of this fucking thing?

well bugger me, yes i do use signblazer, i've had it on the pooter for about
7 or 8 months, and only in the last week or so have these .pvw files been
    popping up.

wonder what i've changed to make it suddenly start creating these damn
    files.

i cant remove the proggy to get rid of them as i use it all the time, tho i
wish the rumoured replacement for signblazer would materialize,
the ceo of signblazer died a while back, and the company folded the day
after, hence you can't buy licences for the software anymore, so have to use
it in trial mode with nag screens.
