Tell you what. I could save up all the extra couple of inches that
don't need or want from my shirt-sleeves and post them to you.

good value, for sure, and unmatchable by anything in the UK.

But I don't have to live in the fucking desert, and I can wash a bacon
buttie down with a glass of Pol Roger any time I fucking fancy it.

Hmmmm. Hand made shirts vs. decent booze and grub on demand. Tough
    choice, eh?

Do without a few of bottles of the bubbly and you'll be able to afford
hand made shirts AND not live in the fucking desert

I can afford hand made shirts AND Champagne[1] AND not live in the
    fucking desert.

[1] fairly gutted though that the gift[2] I've just received from one
of the job agents I deal with exceeds our compliance de minimus value,
and so I can't take it home.
[2] Berry Bros & Rudd gift set of a bottle of Binet Fils & Cie
    Champagne + Skelligs Vanilla Truffles.

Berry Bros are (IMO) overrated. Yes they sell good wine but their mixed
cases are not good VFM. And they don't sell 1996 Lafon-Rochet which is
    my current fave.

If you could find the same product at a cheaper price it may be
allowable under your compliance de minimus.

for "can't take it home", read "am not allowed to accept the gift".

I may be able to spilt the pack, and accept the wine (it's valued
individually under the min. value), and give the chocolates to our
internal charity raffle, but that's not confirmed.

I probably /could/ accept the entire thing on behalf of my team, but
that means we'd only get 1/2 a glass of champagne each.
