FOAK Skype broken?

Is Skype broken? Can't log in and the weeb-site is about as fast as
rising damp here atm.

 

Ditto, web site's working ok for me, but heartbeat.skype.com is very
slow and hasn't been updated.

 

It's dead, even the test service is offline

 

Ah, not to worry. It's probably just the opening salvos of Net War 0.9a.
Sort of a Beta test for real thing next year.

What with Skype going a bit wibbly, the UseNet backbone having a quick
lie down and all sorts of odd web-site outages the world over It'll be the
Yanks, Chinks, Ruskies and anarchists just tuning up their WMDs, ready
for the onslaught.

I read it on the net.
