Even I could fit a tyre in less than 1/2 hour using my boot heel and a few
    fucking spoons.

Raynesway will take them with no charge and no need for advance
warning, if you can get it into the car. I disposed of one last year.

I think it's £15 if they collect though.

What? You don't pop the tyre warmers on for 32 minutes exactly before
you peel out onto the oh so predictable local council tarmac after work?

Too late for that. I'll get round to it, it's out the way by the bins.

Ta muchly, I'll wait until it's dry then shove it in the car.

    heh

same here. The old one was an integrated one. These are expensive to
replace and as we never had enough storage space I ordered a chest freezer
to go in the utility room.

Eventually, I got around to removing the old freezer from the kitchen. It's
now sitting in the porch and we have a freezer sized hole in the kitchen. I
think I'll wait for the fridge above the hole to die, then rip out the
tacky cabinet in favour of an upright fridge freezer.

Well, if he's charging an hour's labour for two tyres, I'm not surprised
    he makes living.

So long as there are enough mugs like you about.

25 quid for Harrow Council to come and take away a f/freezer.[1] Comet
wanted less as part of the delivery/removal option.

[1] I'm sure it was free a few years back, cos of the CFCs escaping or
    something.

We'll probably use Iguana Direct next time we need something:

Energy-efficient appliances, competitive prices, including delivery,
installation, and disposal of old appliance.

Get a Pilot Road 2 on the front so when the time comes you can have the
matching rear. The new Duke is running ME Z4's and on slic wet roads
I've been reminded just how good the PR2 is. A great tyre wet or dry but
fantastic wet, never had a moment. Wears well. Lozzo found them
    excellent.

I cannot recommend these Metzelers, on a wet lap of the TT I was
countersteering the front end slides on 3 corners, one particularly
    nasty.

I've used the BTs, and Avon Azaros, on mine. Both excellent.

And your man has ridden every combination of tyre on every bike made,
and is obviously fit to comment?

They don't seem to do an integrated freezer, the type that slides into a
cabinet and has a fascia attached to match the rest of the kitchen.

That's okay, we don't have any integrated appliances.

I've watched them do it at international race meetings. They
certainly don't spend 30 minutes per tyre.
As TOG says - has this guy ridden every bike with every type of tyre
    on it?
