My shiny new W350i comes with three 'games' installed and locked, which I
don't use. I'd like to install Jtides.jar but (i) though I can transfer
it to the phone's memory or M2 it doesn't 'see' it as a java app and (ii)
exploring the phone from my PC I can't find any .jar files for the pre-
installed games. Anyone know of a fix/work-round?

  2. From memory - mobile java uses a different extension. But I could be
    wrong on this..

You'd be right! I can program in MBASIC and Fortran (and even Z80
assembler) but Java is a black art to me. It all went wrong when they
    abandoned line numbers.
