My neighbour has snazzy forward-mounted footboards on his big Harley,
and it seems to me that something like them are what I need for the 250
RS - not for snazz, but because of my reduction of kneebend, I can't sit
    on the dual-seat sensibly, otherwise.

Can any kind soul suggest a good place online to start looking for
something of the sort which can be cobbled on?

  2. they have 'em on Guzzi Californias, too. I'd think that they'd be
available, or you could have some forward set pegs in an easy-rider stylee,
with linkages to the gears etc.

The latter would be possible to make, I'd think.

    They'd be no promble.

Dropped into Tinkler's today since I was imbibing in the Fat Cat, just
round the corner. (Some scrumptious mild on, ATM! Filled a half-gallon
jug to take home. I may be shome time...)

We're talking well into four figures for Yamaha footboards. Did a recce
in a scrapyard too, hoping for inspiration.

Have bought some bronze-welding rod, and will visit a steel stockist
    later in the week.

    Very good!

Um - Thanks for the heads-up, but unless I can find something (wossit
called?) - after wossname? - at a more affordable price, it'll have to
be pegs to begin with, or some bent tin, a cut-up car mat and some work
    with the oxy-turbogas set, innit.
