We`ve won the 2006 X-Race scooter drag racing series in the class 1/ 12.3
second bracket on the Red Dwarf sprinter with a slow run at Santa pod of
    13.0 something seconds.
I say a slow run because we are running constant high12 `s on an average day
with best around 12.7 and 99mph.
Only 5 mph behind the un-official world record by a major scooter tuning
company that have spent over £23k on their sprinter, so next year it`s the
world record on a machine that cost less than a second-hand bike (or the
equivilant value to about a grand).
It`s an un-official british record for the standing start quarter for it`s
class and was built in a shed.
I`m understandably proud and will be prouder when we get the world record as
not many people in motorsport can claim a british/world record on anything
with two wheels for what we`ve paid, but then again not many people are as
    mad :)

It`s all un-official anyway as ACU/NSA and others don`t have rules and regs
for scooter drag racing yet (thank god the officious sanctimonious red-tape
    loving wankers).

    Oh .....hello everyone :)

Excellent work! Well desverved result especially against the well funded
    opposition.
I'm still trying to get my head around a scoot which can do a <13sec/100mph
    terminal speed quarter mile.
    Mental.
Best of luck for next year.
    PS: got any video footage?

Better than we expected for the first 8 months of trading :)

Taking all outgoings into account including our meagre wages we are actually
making a profit and had no need to use the overdraft.
Never going to be millionaires though :) but it was never about that.

  17. Petel, you are a bloody star. Now, if you could do for real bikes what
you do for hairdryers, all of ukrm would beat a path to your door ;-)

Lol! Maybe sometime in the future when we find a unit big enough to handle
"Proper" bikes ;-) we might just broaden our horizons.
In the mean time we`ve got more than enough work and not really enough room
    :)
