HK Bathurst Monaro, Series 1. This vehicle has undergone a meticulous
full nut-bolt rotisserie restoration, over the last 8 years. All
parts are NOS or restored to original-new condition. Everything is
new - interior, mechanical and electrical, body work and paint. This
vehicle has been garaged since 1988 and last registered in 1988. I
have not even started the engine, or filled any fluids, to ensure that
the car can be stored indefinitely without any concern of
deterioration. This will suit an investor buyer. I have a HK
Handbook and Monaro Handbook which will also enhance the value of this
vehicle. Please do not bid, if you are not serious about purchasing
    this Monaro.

    $130,000 so far!!!

There was a 327 HG monaro which had no restoration performed (original
condition but from the pictures it had been garaged all it's life) on
ebay about a month ago which went for over $180K.

$140,900 and reserve not met?????? Makes you wonder.

I love the "please do not bid if you are not serious about purchasing".
How about please do not auction, if your not serious about selling!

A major bug bear I have with Ebay is the hidden reserve. Sellers can,
and often do, pronounce a reserve by starting with their own minimum bid.
At least you can skip the time waster sellers if they have put up their
    own starting bid too high.

    For instance:

    http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI...MEWA:IT&viewitem=&item=280113282466&rd=1&rd=1

at least has saved anyone wasting time by putting up a wishful starting
    price. Third time around too.

(Anyway ....Ford XY Falcon Phase 3 GT-HO sounds better than Holden HK
Bathurst Monaro, Series 1! And the there's the Chrysler E49 R/T Charger)
