Right, ta. So pretty close to the channel from where I'm sitting. A
good six-hour drive. I'll think about it closer to the time anyway.

Ouais c'est ça, et mon tailleur est riche ...
Where did I claim I'd created a 'French dictionary' ?
This is UKRM we're dealing with.

In short, you're a patronising arse who hasn't a clue how to use
    English.

Hands up anyone who's surprised ...

That was the intention. The 'Lozzo' addition was done on Friday
afternoon, on a 'whim' as you might say. I didn't really expect to get
congratulations for it, but I didn't anticipate the 'closing of ranks'
and the vicious 'get Des!' antics from the Clique either.

As for the other words like 'l'égoïste' for 'car driver', that too was
part of the version that I published a couple of years ago and if my
memory serves me correctly, people took it in good spirits then.
I don't ask anyone to 'march in step' with me, just as long they don't
expect me to bend the knee and kiss the Clique arse.

That's because most people correspond to those descriptions. You prove
    that in this very post.
No I don't, and you'll find not one single post in which I express
anything even remotely approaching such a view. You are lying again.
I 'court conflict' on AADP because that's the 'nature of the beast' on
that group. I don't 'court conflict' on UKRM or in real life.
    Grow up.
How much did your degree in pyschology cost you?
Well get off my fucking case, and I'll stop spoiling it for you.

Which was very much 'tongue-in-cheek' and if I recall correctly, was
    understood to be such.
Please spare us the 'thruppence-h'appeny-pyschology', you fucking
    infantile twat.
Completely useless rhetoric aimed at 'playing for the crowd'. Don't
worry, I'm sure it'll have worked.
As far as I'm aware, there are two ways to be Jewish: be born it, or
convert. I've mentioned the girl at my former Synagogue who is
converting and I don't have the staying power to go through that shit.
That leaves the other option, whether you believe it or not.
    Ah, classic projection.

I've never lied to get into a bint's knickers, perhaps because I've
never had to. Is there something you want to tell us?
    &lang=vi

Wow. Blast from the past time. Was I really that hefty??
Which part of 'I didn't wear a kippa in those days' is causing you
    problems?

    <
Want it smaller, bite-sized words ?

Thanks for the 'own goal', Andy. Fucking hell, you've never forgiven me
for turning left out of that pub, have you ?

    Heh ..

No, it's AW's 'name dropping' as in '<breathless>I've met
    Des!!</breathless>'

It was during a TOG trip to Dunkirk when I was rat-arsed and decided
that it was time to head back to the hotel. I left the pub and turned
left instead of turning right (or vice versa... I don't recall).

AW has used it ever since as some sort of 'proof' that everything he
says about me on UKRM is true.

    Woo-eh ..

  11. I saw that little cameo and as a moment of great but entirely unintended
humour it was a good one. I also recall I paid some attention to the
conversation in the pub beforehand and if I remember it right the
criticism you come in for is based upon that conversation and not upon a
brief moment in time that only two or three were witness to. Something
to do with the death of a family member?

    Indeed.

Yeah, I can laugh about it now, but bringing it up as some sort of
'recrimination' is extremely petty and proof of the paucity of one's
argument. Alcohol can't be used to excuse, say, murder, but when you're
pissed, not remembering the way back to the hotel is low on the list of
    'misdeamours'.
Yep, my uncle (z``l) who'd died, dunno maybe five years previously, but
I'd momentarily forgotten that fact. Again, that was probably worth a
titter but there are younger members of my family whom I've not seen for
a good twenty years and who probably don't even know if I'm alive or
dead. That's what happens when families are scattered to the four
    winds.

I think that event, plus the getting lost that evening (and on the road
earlier on in the day) earned me a sort of 'temporary "YTC"' which was
of course rescinded at the same time as my 'flavour of the month' status
when I crossed the Clique a few months later. We can't have Des bearing
on of UKRM's most coveted titles, although I note this evening that
ogden's given me a yellow star...

  13. I couldn't possibly argue with this one and accordingly I yield in
    respect of your superior knowledge.

I could be on a role here with the memory thing as my view of the events
is that you were involved much more at the beginning of the telling of
the tale than you give yourself credit for.

It's entirely possible. I recall little of that evening.

  15. It's still another 4 years before I get my bus-pass. I may even have
another working bike before then! (I'm so _fucking_ tired. I'd like to
spend a year dead for sleep reasons...)

As I said before, the 2008 French Run falls in one of our extended
weekends, so I will normally have familiy duties which take me to
southern France... Now, of course, if they all fall under a train before
    then...
