For those who recommended paraffin,...

Spent the weekend up to me elbows in the stuff.

Top advice though guys, the Suzuki now looks like new, all the swingarm and
surround is a gleaming oil/ lube/ brake dust free area.

Get the wheels back on tuesday, and then I can bolt everything back together
again.

S'big enough for me ta. Why would I want a lairy litre bike anyhow, the
longest straight bit of road here is less than a mile.

Although, had I not just bought a house the 750K4 would be in my garage
right now.

Paraffin does have a lower flash point than petrol but that doesn't make it
"safe".

Behave. TOG often has more than that, and AAW, darsy, Tim Crowther
and others (including, once upon a time, my very good self) are near
to five each without having any visitors.

there's 4 in my garage at the moment (and 3 pedal cycles). I don't
think I've ever had 5 bikes at the same time.

Still, I find out what my bonus[1] is in about 4 weeks time, so you
never know.

[1] I know what my pay-rise will be, but they like to keep the bonuses
a secret.

 

They do that at my place too, so I find out in March.

I'll bet it's fairly shit as the huge profit we made probably won't be
quite as high as the huge profit they set as a target... Just like last
year, and the year before. Neat trick.
