Anyone need some FZ400 front forks, with new oil seals fitted. At least
    I think they're FZ400 forks, a mate thinks they're FZR600 forks.

    Or...

Would my FZR250 fork lowers fit onto the FZ400 tubes?

    Or...

should I just stick them on ebay.

On second thoughts, what condition is the chrome in, and how much would you
be wanting for them (presuming they do match the FZR600 forks)?

The chrome is ok, had them stoned and polished around where the seals
run. Not rusty, but a tiny bit pitted around where the clamps go. I'll
measure up the forks legs from the top to the dust seals, and mail you a
picture or two of the leg bottoms also.

On googling some more, I think that they're actually off an old FZ400...
If that proved to be true, then they're in good condition for what they are.

If you don't want them, then I'll strip them down, and see if I can make
the tubes fit the lower bits on my FZR forks.

They're 38mm fork tubes, not 43mm ones. I've got yokes with them too
though. See my reply to Dynamic for my plans....

Oh.. I'll be happy with 40 quid off a UKRMer, or about 50 off someone
else for both forks + yokes.
