Too right. We'll move onto the benefit monkeys next and after that the
RTA 'victims' who think they should be supported.

Yeah, just like happens all the time in the USA. And Canada. And
    Russia...

FFS - in the small town I stayed in in British Columbia, the locals
told me they saw bears in their back gardens all the time. I was
staying by Lake Tahoe in California once and a bear wandered onto the
    decking of the house.

    Stop being such a poof.

I didn't. I shall add it to the long list of stuff I'll catch up with
one day. Other than for films and working through box sets I don't
    watch TV.
    They'd eaten his cows then?

    Yeah, I did.
I didn't have a great deal of sympathy. The wolves were there first.

  15. What, you didn't go out and try to be friends with it? Why, they're so
cuddly and fluffy and harmless according to you imply.
I don't see it as being alarmist or poofy to be against the notion of
restocking wild areas of the British Isles with dangerous creatures.
    Hamilton, on the other hand...

    Actually they weren't, I don't think.

I was discussing it with P. and we came to the conclusion that while
there probably *had* been wolves in the area previously, it was only
after they were re-introduced to Yellowstone NP that he had problems.
I took it as they had moved to the ranch when no wolves were around.

Of course, this is just my take on the program and if there *were*
wolves there when he moved in then I'm with you 100%.

TBF mate I'd sooner see wolves and bears than the feral human trash we now
have roving the towns and cities in packs every night.

    yay! new flavours of roadkill.
like all animals, wolves are lazy. they won't go out of their way to get into
a scuffle unless, as you say, they perceive a threat. given that our trash
already supports a large animal ecosystem and is plenty rich enough a food
source to support several small third world countries, what makes you think
they would go around ripping people's throats out when they can just rip
    open a bin bag?

apart from anything else the traditional risk, that the wolves would get our
little children lost and alone in the woods at night, no longer exists because
our little children are obese little cunts who never see sunlight unless it's
at butlins, who are chauffeured to and from their creche (humourously still
called "school") in armoured personnel carriers because of the "peedoes".
