Nearly did a Steve-style lowside this morning. Happily pootling around the
square-about south of Chelsea Bridge - dry road, no gravel, paint or small
children, flat camber, "even" throttle - and the back wheel let go! I
hardly even had my toe down. It's not even as though I haven't used that
bit of tyre before. Anyway, a big wiggle and a countersteer later it
settles down again. Really don't understand what went wrong there - any
    ideas?

Oh, and I saw a flat fox on Battersea Bridge North road.

If you were cranked over the edge of the tyre may have been cold.

Coincidence? I think not. The Woodland Alliance are out to get you.

Well that one backfired on them, didn't it? Next time they'd better train
their infantry to cross roads :)

You get the same problem at some track which a predominantly one side.
Snetterton, for example is mainly right handed with the exception of
    The Esses and Russell Bend.
