Go COLIN!!!! What a lap. Perfect line through last double right back onto
the straight. He didnt pull up at all thru the last 2 turns...perfect
    smooth arc...wow.

Do you reckon he can do it in the race?
Rossi is just behind on the grid & Stoner is HOT!
    Checa will probably crash.

    I reckon Stoner Rossi Hopper

Go Stoner!!! Seems he can make the Duc go round corners so it's not
    just top end.

I think in the race Colin will become a mobile chicane again, he seems
to qualify well then come Sunday finds a reverse gear.
consistancy of sorts while the rest are all a bit over the place.

    Race prediction....

    1/ Stoner
    2/ Hopkins
    3/ Rossi

If Casey can pull off a win tomorrow that will really ruffle a few
feathers (esp Rossi) and send the japs into a frenzie, not to mention
Michelin and hopefully silence a few critics.

Yeah...I'm sad to say up until now you're spot on with Colin. He's been
shell shocked since his cube days, just cant seem to get it done on race
day. But good on him for the pole. I was watching Eurosport for
qual...they had Casey on camera settling in the pit after his pole
time...when they flashed to Colin doing his hot lap. I was rooting for him
the whole way. Exciting finish. Love those qual tires...makes Mgp
    qualifying a bit like superpole.

Would love another podium for Hopkins...he deserves it. I wonder what's
behind the turnaround for Suzuki? The 800 format really works for that
    bike.

    Race:
1 - Colin (He has to make up for his Assen crash last year...he has to have
    a win!)
    2 - Rossi (1-2 punch for Yammie)
3 - Stoner (with a great 2nd spot dual between Vali & Casey)
    4 - Hopkins

Hayden outside the top 10. ;)

Awesome effort by Edwards - that said I am not sure he'll win tomorrow. Then
again, he stated he liked the circuit since he got on the podium in '05.

    It's all very close.

Stoner looks awesome, he rides so hard and yet with control. There was a
sequence of him on motogp.com sliding both tires... who says you can't do
that with 800s. And if they're so easy to ride now, how come Edwards
highsided it... doesn't matter when it comes to predictions.

My money is on Stoner. Edwards second. Hopkins third. I would not be
surprised if Rossi tries too hard to make a point and makes a mistake. It
seems Stoner's on a riding high, the Duc is working for him, and that it'd
be foolish to oppose him on a good day.

Yeah that CE highside was the first I've heard of in mgp in a looooooong
time. But good to know its still possible. ;)

Warmup didnt go well for Vali...not looking good.

The LeMan straight is pretty long so I think this could be another Duc
track. All Casey has to do is stay close to Vali thru the twisty backside
after the fast chicane and he can line up Vali everytime for the front
    straight draft.
