With this months "Bike" Magazine!
Quite a sweetener that was dropping through my letter box, especially after
rushing home to see the 2nd race of the WSB that I had recorded from the BBC,
only to find that they obviously thought that the women's damn golf championship
was more important that waiting for race 2 to be restarted. Tossers!!

I can't stand the way that the BBC shows sports on 4:3 format.
It looks really shit on my widescreen.

I watched it on Eurosprt today.

Indeed, i used to be French but now I'm pretend I'm Scottish and spend all

The commentary was inane; race tracks looked seedy in the '80s; the
racers leathers looked, frankly, gay and the marshaling was bordering on
the dangerously inept.

Worth it for the last point alone.

 

Time for a look at Paul Varnsverry's "rogues gallery".
ISTR that Swift made some totally gay leathers.

To be fair to Paul, they were usually made to customer's colour
specifications. We also get some strange requests at GLF Accessories
when we're selling MJK Leathers.

Quite a few racers like loud/bright leathers because they stand out and
make them more noticeable, and therefore likely to attract more sponors.

BTW, I work for the guy who now owns Swift Leathers, only I am employed
by a separate company distributing a different range of bike gear.
