Nah, asking's fine; just, it's probably a mistake to expect a sensible

    ey oop lads.

Big D's Biker bar down the road from us closed down, great place I
heard but hassle from the locals about "noise" and "dangerous riding".
    My arse.
Any of you guys know it?

I was thinking of getting an old Tiger Cub to potter about on, but when
I FSWE'd, the prices were crazy. We used to buy 3 scrap ones for 25
quid and make a new one out of the bits back in the day. Ah well.

  6. Geoff does that with classic cars, and I've been known to do that with
radios. I abeznily fcraq rather less zbarl on my remolishments than
    Geoff does, though.

I could give that a good home if no one else has dibs on it - have an
impending project that it would be very useful for

Ok, let me know when you want to collect it.

Bear in mind that it's been sat in my shed for about four years and
I've no intention of either cleaning it or checking it still does what
    it's supposed to.

Well my local auction house often has sewing machines for sale that seem
to go to people who are collecting them. These look like they can date
back to the 1920s or 30s. So if you want me to look out for them or buy
them for you on some sort of commission basis then I could do that.
Every £1 coin counts with me ... so ever if there isn't much money in it
I may still consider doing it if you are interested.

I can view the auction wares on a Sunday for a Wednesday sale ... so I
can give you plenty of warning of what is on offer,

My mum has 18, mainly reconditioned hand-cranked Singers from the early
part of the 20th century. She has a lovely Mundlos in a burr walnut
cabinet that my dad bought her as a wedding present. It was a tredle
machine but he converted it to electric in the early 60s using some
motor filched from the army stores in Blandford, and parts made by the
REME workshops. It's never broken down.
